METRO BRIDGE INSPECTIONS

Emergency bridge inspections of METRO’s bridges over waterways during Hurricane Harvey prior to METRO re-opening the light rail system to ensure the floodwaters did not damage the bridges. H2B then completed multiple initial, routine, underwater and fracture critical inspections on bridge structures owned by METRO for their light rail system over the next five years. H2B coordinated with METRO for the cleaning of the bridge superstructure during the inspections and provided recommended repair procedures for the bridge and are currently working on designs for repairs.
