Tod spent 20 years in various leadership roles in the Army Reserves including a deployment to Iraq in 2004 as a company commander prior to starting H2B in 2005. His time in the military heavily influenced his leadership style and his passion to give back to fellow veterans either through H2B’s work with the Department of Veterans Affairs or the PTSD Foundation of America. In his spare time Tod enjoys watching his two son’s play high school and college baseball.
 
“My favorite project at H2B has been the Port Commerce Business Park, a 72-acre commercial subdivision, that I personally designed the infrastructure for in 2013 and that H2B is in the process of finalizing the design for the final lot now 10 years later. Going from personally designing most projects to supervising numerous young professional engineers as they design the final lots within the subdivision has been rewarding to watch the next generation of H2B project managers tackle.”

Ken began his engineering career in Wyoming and relocated to Texas in 1998. With over 30 years of civil engineering experience, Ken has significant experience in site design, as well as roadways/ infrastructure. His attention to detail makes him a great asset to any design team and he is often requested by clients to work on their projects. Ken is also a Registered Surveyor-In-Training.

In his spare time, Ken enjoys spending time with his five grandsons and granddaughter, as well as volunteering his time with the Soap Box Derby.

Lane joined H2B in 2014. He began his career as a field engineer in the construction industry where he learned how to make design drawings come to life. Lane uses his background in construction, his seasoned design experience, and project management efficiency to help the project teams provide smooth project delivery for our clients. In 2021, Lane took on the role of Operations Manager for H2B and has helped develop and implement systems and processes that are integral to H2B’s success as we continue to grow and serve our clients.
​
In his spare time, Lane enjoys working in his yard, actively volunteering at both of his daughter’s schools, spending time with his family, and cooking the next recipe that caught his eye on Bon Appetit.
 
“My favorite project that I have worked on at H2B is the Center for Enterprise and Education at the Brookwood Community in Brookshire, Texas. I really enjoyed working on this project because of the impact the Brookwood has on our community, and for those that call it home.”

With 19 years’ experience, Sarah provides sound solutions to challenging projects enabling the team to deliver a facility on schedule and in budget. As Structural Engineering Manager, Sarah provides oversight for all structural operations, including production, process management and client services.
